If the weather is correct, the party will take place at the Aft of the ship – so make sure you grab your favorite lounger. 

What’s in store for you at the Pajama Party? It’s all about making new best friends, dancing, and enjoying surprises throughout the night. Guests can party with divas, dance to a DJ, and hang out with other cruisers in their PJs, zany PJs, or onesies. All Virgin ships are adults-only ships, so there’s no strict dress code so feel free to get creative with your attire and add a “splash of red” to get into the party spirit.

Do I have to wear PJs to the Pajama Party?

For my first PJs Party, I wore shorty plaid red and black checker pajamas. It was my first time, and I was super excited to dance the night away in my PJs – our party was held in the Manor, so I did not stay long enough to enjoy the dance floor. For our second PJs party, we enjoyed the show and everyone’s outfits on the deck, and I enjoyed that much more! Both of our PJ parties were held on a Caribbean Cruise.

If you have a late-night dinner or show or are participating in the grog walk – Virgin’s bar crawl – You may want to change into your PJs before 9 pm to ensure you are ready for the night.

If you are not doing any evening activities, change into your PJs before the party starts (typically around 9:45 pm) and head to the back of the ship to grab the perfect place to watch the show and have a good time.

When I go to the PJ Party, I make my restaurant reservations early so I have time to shower and change if I want to.

Grab a drink from a bar before heading up to the party – depending on how many people show up to the party. You may need help getting a drink during the show. I love getting wine from Extra Virgin, the Italian restaurant, or a mezcal drink from Pink Agave, the Mexican restaurant. It’s so easy to put the drink on your bar tab after dinner! 

Don’ts

Don’t feel weird about wearing comfy PJs if someone is in sexy PJs. Just like I said – there is no dress code! Someone might be dressed up in a sexy negligee, while someone might be wearing a onesie! Don’t judge, and have fun! 

Respect other guests’ personal space and boundaries. We shouldn’t have to say this, but just because someone is dancing with you while wearing PJs doesn’t mean that they like you like that! 

Don’t skip the party – if you don’t want to be among the crowds, you can go up a floor by the waking track and soak it all in!

If you’re a fan of all things ’80s, Klub Rubiks is the perfect themed night for you. This event is an ’80s-themed dance party with a DJ spinning all the hits from the era.
